Then...
POLYCHEM was establushed in 1970 by Engr. Carlito S. marquez, under the name of POLYCHEM ENGINEERING. Polychem Engineering pioneered in the local manufacture of bottle washing compunds for the beverage industry. Subsequently, their market grew and extended to breweries, distilleries, and dairy plants. It was in this field that POLYCHEM became known to the industry.
In 1974, POLYCHEM INDUSTRIES, INC. became a corporationand began to service the sugar industry. The company was the first to locally produce an alkalne-based cleaning compound specifically formulated for sugar juice evaporators. Other formulation such as mill sanitizers, pan boiling additives, and clarification aid soon followed. It also marked the first time local company ventured into water treatment by formulating its own boiler water treatment chemicals.
And now...
Today, POLYCHEM is a widely diversified company with interest ranging from industrial cleaning chemicals, machinery, equipment, industrial supplies, agriculture, aquaculture, and forestry.
On September 10, 1999, Polychem organized an affiliate company known as POLYCHEM PROPERTIES, INC., for the purpose of developing real estate including building, homes (low income housing projects), apartments, and other structures.
As part of its expansion program, POLYCHEM also ventured into the rapidly growing business of e-commerce and informationtechnology. In response to a global need for modernization, POLYCHEM became a duly licensed franchisee of WORLDSITES, a division which caters to Webpage and website development, Internet application programs, network solutions, and IT consultation.
